As of June 28th 2020, Slimebound has been massively upgraded to a full-feature expansion mod known as Downfall.

The Slime itself has levelled up into a Slime Boss, and has gained reworked cards and mechanics, streamlining and polishing the design to a higher level of quality. It stands as the flagship character of the suite of four that make up Downfall.

Slime can still be played in normal runs, just as before, by checking out the Config menu. You can enable all Downfall characters in Normal runs, and all Standard characters in Downfall runs, if you wish.
