Balancing
Here's the thread in which you can blame your own lack of skills on the game! Just kidding. If you think a spell is too strong or too weak, complain here, but at least be constructive about it!
Don't say something like: "fookin grappling hooks are too op" - explain why.
Offering a solution raises chances for any changes.

Also, don't expect that something will change just because you want it, unless you're really making sense, more people will have to agree with you.

AOE Damage of friction rod deals 18 DMG instead of 25 and the explosion radius reduced to 3.3m from 4m.

Now it doesn't have infinite range. You can't look at the attacker only in 6 meter radius.

Nerf the passive for the 1.5x increased dash just a tad bit, maybe add a negative value like increased cooldown by 3 seconds, which makes the dash have an 8 second cooldown, or make it 1.25x instead.
Reason for this is because a friend and I were just playing on the space map, and he literally could not kill me even at 999% because I manage to keep coming back with just the dash alone and a few double jumps. It makes you pretty much immortal on certain maps :/

Nerfed it. But be ware that being hard to kill isn't mainly due to the quickdash. Drpz_moonribs is the hardest map to knock someone out because of:
a) Lower gravity
b) Size of the map
c) Ground raising the closer you get to the edges (increases friction)
I suggest trying other maps if you're just playing with a friend.

I think more needs to be done to impact recovery on high percentages. A skilled airstrafer can survive past 900% using grapple and dash on some maps. I think past a certain percentage, airstrafing should be gimped and the use of abilities like dash and grapple should be the only sure-fire way of recovering should you get knocked out of the stage.

I propose 300% to be this gimping point, I'd like to discuss this idea further though

I don't really know if there's even a function to impact strafing. I think I might do it by tampering with velocity of a player after a certain percentage. I could also make it so the player gets stunned after a succesful combo if he has high KBP. I have few features to add before that, after I add them, I'll work on it.

Moaning needs a nerf. It's basically invincibility for four seconds, but even better. Perhaps making it an ultimate would be sufficient, or making it so it's only for a second or half a second to sort of throw off your opponents aim.

The cat ultimate should also be slightly nerfed so that the effects last for a specified time instead of an entire life, since if you're in a 1v1 with only 1 life left for both, you activate and it's basically gg since the opponent can't really see anything.

I'll nerf moaning for sure, I fully agree with you there. I'll nerf the cat, but I'll tweak the mana and CD only, because you still have to aim with it and hit the opponent and it's not super easy if you're not close to him (I might make it so if you're too close you can get hit by the effect too)
