This screenshot, where you can click this link to view, shows a patch of gravel.. For some odd reason, acts as ice. When walking on it, the controls seem to flow slightly, and when you stop moving, you keep your moment before sliding to a pause, where as, all other blocks do not do this.

I randomly found this, and it had a few of us messing with this small patch for a few rounds.
