Trader price editor
For those who wants an easier time editing trader prices for their server. The program displays your TraderConfig.txt file in a spreadsheet format. Some edits are easier to do in a text editor since you can quickly open, search, save.

The program is heavily aimed towards server owners with low experience in programming or config file editing.

Features:
Automatically sorts items by trader properties.
Console tells you what the program is doing, and if it encounters any errors in your config (not all errors are counted for).
Excel like editing.
Easily add new traders or categories.
Reorganize the order of all lists.

What might come:

Editing multiple items at once
Adding multiple items at once
Search for item

How to use:
  1. Start the program
  2. Press File -> Open.
  3. Select and open the TraderConfig.txt file you already have, if you dont have one, grab one from the mod folder DayZDirectory/!Workshop/@Trader/ServerProfileFolder/TraderConfig.txt
  4. You can now select any of your traders, categories & items to edit any.
  5. When you are finished, press File -> Save, you have to do this when youre done editting. The program does not automaticly save, nor do Ctrl+S work.


You can below see a screenshot of the program.
  • Red area is the traders.
  • Blue area is all categories in the trader you have selected.
  • Green Area is all items in your selected category.
  • You dont have to double click on a cell to edit it. Just type with your keyboard.
  • When done editing a cell, it would be best if you press the key enter.
  • Get a bit used to the program before using it in production.
  • You can drag Trader/Categories/items around to reorganize.
  • You can sort any of the lists by clicking on the headers

Standard Version[drive.google.com]

For some (Win7 & Windows Server users) the standard program will not run. You will have to use the full version. (Difference is that it has some packed windows dependencies built into the exe file and might run a bit slower).

Aby bylo povoleno ladění JIT, musí konfigurační soubor
pro tuto aplikaci nebo počítač (machine.config) mít
v oddílu system.windows.forms nastavenou hodnotu njitDebugging.
Aplikace rovněž musí být kompilována s povoleným
laděním.

Příklad:

Je-li ladění JIT povoleno, budou všechny neošetřené výjimky
odeslány ladicímu programu JIT, který je registrován v počítači,
a nebudou zpracovány tímto dialogovým oknem.

App is signed, won't open on windows server by default. On Windows 10 it comes up with a warning about it not being signed. Most people will either think its not work or not trust the app entirely. Might want to look into that :)

Can i include this program and make sure they know you make it with ur steam profile like im making a dayz mod integration project on github to make it easier for community server modding?

Can't open it, just instantly closes. Granting admin rights doesn't help.

EDIT: Full version does work!

Full version worked a couple of days, now it is closing itself immediatly after starting. Normal version as well. Re-downloaded versions, also. Is there a log or sth similar?

Yeah, the same thing now happening to me. Great tool but now won't even open.
