However, at least on my machine, there are HEAVY frame dips during rifle-related animations (the pistol I have seems to be unaffected so far) - during weapon switches, reloads, pumps / bolt action, the game skips dozens of frames.
We had one instance today where a reload failed and a mag got stuck in an AKSU - it could still shoot the remaining cartridges, but the mag could not be removed or replaced. Interestingly, my co-player had no performance issues while on my machine (specs below), the FPS dropped to 20 (normally ~90) even while simply holding the bugged AKSU, not just bring it up / stashing it away or whatnot.
I tried re-installing the mod and putting it at the end of the mod list, rolling back the GPU drivers to the same version my friend is using, reducing the visual fidelity settings, it's all the same - it feels like a heavy script is running at key moments to kill the framerate or something.
I love the mod and hope this issue can be remedied as well. I'm sure you had a good reason to update it recently and I'm sure we can make reloading great again :D
