At least he should make the ones enterable in dayz enterable if he does. good point though he should make the barracks in this nw airfield actually enterable
i am pretty sure someone could make the barracks enterable if he could or wanted to, there is no reason to stop him, besides the base resources
oh yeah srry for calling it dayz map
ill message the maker for the suggestion
If some great mappers (people better than me) would be willing to help collaborate on making some good quality content from Cherno or Electro from scratch with hl2 assets then I'd be willing to do those places. It would be a lot of work for 1 person.
I recently got sdk source and im new to mapping and i dont really know how to use it at all
shrinking down players would be near impossible, as it would screw gravity up its ass. only way to fix the gravity is vphysics, which is a whole other story.
long story short, you could easily run multiple servers, and if he does make chernarus, he makes them in seperate maps. walking and hitting the edge of 1 map = you warp to the next server. also, slowing down the player walk speed is always a way to make the map seem bigger.
