Sorry, it's a known issue when HL2: Episode Two isn't mounted. These models use a custom cubemap/reflection texture that I forgot to include in the addon. You can indeed work around it by using mat_specular 0 (or mat_fastspecular 0, which is faster to toggle), but this also disables reflections on everything else.

For a better and more permanent fix, download this zip[drive.google.com] and extract both files to your GarrysMod/garrysmod/materials/cubemaps/ directory (create the materials and cubemaps folder if they don't exist). I probably won't be releasing any more updates to my maps at this point, so this will have to do.
