If you're interested, I previously made another GMod map called gm_fork that's similarly large and also built with exploration in mind, although there aren't as many indoor areas as there are in gm_boreas. I've also released a SteamVR Home environment, but it's much smaller in comparison.

This map is actually pretty relaxing in VR. I like to head over to the dormitories, and just laying down and resting. Feels great.

I tried exploring this in VR and it was amazing. It has a lot to explore and beautiful scenery.
