Having major lag problems
Okay, so I looked at some of the things to do, I enabled multicore rendering, disable detail props, and went thorugh and deleted my useless addons, I only have about 60 addons now. I used to have 110, but I went back on the map to find myself getting 2 fps. I have no clue why. I closed out of my other programs, same problem. I cant get above 10 frames and I have a good computer too.

The map has to be optimised, as far as my testing has gone, it renders all of the map at the same time, which is devastating.

Okay well I looked through my addons, if any of you have StormFox and VFire installed at the same time, uninstall VFire, I uninstalled that and I got an instant frame boost.

Still didn't really fix the problem though

As far as I know the map actually has optimisation as little as it is due to how clear it is.

I'd be surprised if it was somewhat optimized, the map is so inconsitent with it's lag. One day I get 30 fps constantly, then I try it again, 2 fps. I don't even know what my problem is at this point.

My 5 year old crappy laptop runs this map with decent FPS for its size. You guys may be an unfortunate few.

Same Van, I have 80 addons and my laptop is 8 years old, playing on high-medium settings with 30-40 FPS on this map.

when i first start the map it works fine, but after 10 minutes of playing on this map, i get lags too, changing the rendering of the map would be perfect

I think the reason I have lag issues is beause of my graphics, I set everything to very high and then actually went into an addon called Life Mod to make it look even better, thats probably why.

This map is very very laggy, I have a strong ass computer and I don't lag on maps bigger than this

What if i just disable Vfire?

That might work, although in gmod, when you unsubscribe to an addon, it actually just disables it, you have to actually go into the files and delete them manually. But yeah, I mean, disabling would probably work.

Just run a command, it cleans out your folder. menu_cleanupgmas
