I have the same problem but I pinpointed it to the three bows in the very beginning of "firearms". whenever i hover over those thre bows, my game crashes but everything else is fine :D

This is avoidable when you use the scrollbar and don't come near the bows with your cursor. Had this problem bugging me, but with some care you can avoid it. Although there are some other items that do this also.

I'm also getting this crash. Three instances in a row.

My problem exactly, not with bows though. Just some other items. I guess I just have to avoid them. Silly.
