For those who MAY be having problems getting CoT to work properly on server.
Reading through comments on this mod I have come to notice that a LOT of people seem to be having an issue with getting CoT menus to display, even if it seems the mod has been installed correctly. Up until a few days ago, I had this issue myself until a comment regarding a video helped me pin point the precise ISSUE that I was having. I suspect that others who are unable to get CoT to display may well be experiencing this same thing as I have so Im just wrtiting this post so that others may be able to resolve their issues too. In essence I found that my problem to get CoT to display was to do with the profiles folder and what you have in your startup bat - this, with one slight change to your folder structure on your server should hopefully sort your problem out. So lets get down to it?

Right first up - What most people have as the profile folder in the root folder of their dayz server is "Users". Now this seems to be what is created by default upon installing your server and running it for the first time with your startup bat (hence your startup may include "-profiles=C:\some\path\to\your\folder\Users"). The issue I found here was that the "Users" folder was in dayz servers root folder. This seems to be part of the issue. What we need to do here is create a NEW profile folder (for the purpose of ease I called my profile folder "profile"). Next up what we need to do is drag and drop the original "Users" folder into this new "profile" folder (or whatever you have called it!). Obviosly inside the original "users" folder is the folder structure for CoT - this remains the same just that all of this is now in a sub sub folder of "profile". So in my instance I have a folder path of "C:\Servers\dayzServer\profile" with the "Users" folder inside this. Next up we NOW have to change the "-profiles=???" line in your start up bat file. So, in my instance, after making the changes - mine was changed from "-profiles=C:\Servers\DayzServer" to "-profiles=C:\Servers\DayzServer\profile".

Right all done. Try restarting your server back up. Hopefully upon jumping inside your server the CoT admin should now come up once you have toggled CoT to on using the "END" key. Please keep in mind here that IF you have any other mods inside the user folder then you may need to make changes to config files etc in order for them to continue functioning normally. On a side note I also had an issue with Dr Jones trader mod not working with the way I originally had my profile folder set up - when I changed the folder structure to how it is now - that started working too! Bonus!!

Hopefully this will help some people with their issues setting up CoT correctly (albeit you HAVE set it up correctly - its just dayz server being an ♥♥♥).

See you post apocalypse!
