There is no "Vortex" in game, as in its not a pysical entity. When HADS is activated the TARDIS will disappear until you materialise elsewhere using the sonic or moniter. The Vortex is just used for testing so dont worry about it.

@Phantom You dont get into the vortex, it just dematerializes and doesnt rematerialize until you use the 2 above methods or until you hit the materialization lever

the vortex prop is un texured (i think we will be seeing it in a few updates)

You can also flip the travel button without picking a destination and it brings you back to where you dematerialized
