Different Monitor Targeting
This was mentioned before but I feel that that person did not give enough detail to make an obvious point, so I changed it a bit. So here is the idea:
Instead of having an eagle eye view of everything when in the monitor mode you would be more of in a spectator perspective (it would be like noclipping around except you wouldn't have a body or a physics gun or anything) you would simply click the ground where you want to set the destination. This would allow you to materialise inside of buildings easily, instead of having to manually go there, use the sonic screwdriver to get it there, set a location and come back again. It would make it a lot easier!
Explanation:
Imagine a banana. Or anything curved. Actually, don't, cause it's not curved or like a banana. Forget the banana!

I agree. A means of getting into buildings is sorely needed. Could add some kind of warning if the space is too small, but let you try anyway and have the tardis shoot you out at a random location, maybe have the tardis be damaged slightly so as to dissuade you from trying again.

yeah just about the only thing missing from this mod is being able to materialize inside buildings or other unreachable areas. how else am i supposed to make a dramatic entrance right into the heart of the enemy's base while simultaneously circumventing all of their defenses?

as for the damage if the space is too small, if the physlock is off it usually takes a LOT of damage from physics conflicts with walls and stuff. sometimes it blows up almost instantly. so, i think that's pretty well taken care of.

but yeah i like this idea a lot. basically, have the monitor put you into noclilp mode with a "set destination" function for when you click, like when you're using the screwdriver.

and don't forget the bananas! ...they're good at parties. and for swapping with blasters when jack isn't looking
