Time Rotor Handbrake

Sooooo many people have said what the time rotor handbrake should do......well why dont it do eactly what it says on the tin. Stop the time rotor . Thats what a handbrake does isn't? stop things from moving...then when you stop the time rotor you could add a fancy stuttery noise to go with it, as your forcing the engines to stop! But this can only be activated once in the vortex or inside while flightmode is on....Does that sound like a good idea (Maybe scrap the whole fancy stuttery noise...Up to you .)

Ooh and when the TARDIS is in phase mode, maybe say if you walked into it, it did a fancy fade pulse effect. Soo you could see it....kinda like when the Doctor leaned against it while it was cloacked .
