So this little thread is for Isaac Grey's idea for a Phase Pulse.

What about a phase pulse? It would be a sphereical shockwave sent out from the tardis that temporarilly paints all objects and players caught in the pulse a certain color for a set number of seconds? This would allow the detection of anything cloaked (even if from another addon). the shockwave's radius and effect duration could be changed via some control and the tardis would take damage proportional to the pulse properties and have a longer cooldown, i.e large pulse with long effect would bring the tardis down by 25% and the pulse would be disabled for a minute.

-Although here's my input: It could paint targets like the wire target finder, and paint it all a single color to prevent performance issues. The Tardis should take some damage, but only based on range. short range paints targets in a radius of U units away from the tardis for T time, and knocks off minimal health (value "H", matt should configure this) with a cooldown of T time (so if targets are painted for 90 seconds it has a cool down of 90 seconds). However, once the target painting is finalized, it should be coded to be modifiable with wiremod, so a person can hook up a wire screen to figure out how many Entities the tardis painted, how many props, and/or how many NPC's, along with distance from the "source" (TARDIS) and the target(s) if possible. Oh, and wire input for painting color, or some option to change/modify the tardis's target paint color
