Tardis Perception Filter Concept
So i was thinking that if we were to add a perception filter for the Tardis we could use a similar concept like the weeping angels mod.
1. The Tardis appears to all players other then the one who spawned it, as a nearly invisible version of the Tardis, meaning that it is almost cloaked but is still visible if you look hard.

2. To the person who spawned the Tardis, it appears unaltered.

3. To all other players they must look right at the Tardis for 5 seconds(ish) before the tardis appears fully visible.

4. Inside on the control panel there could be a small switch that can activate or deactivate the filter.

5. while in flight mode this feature is deactivated so that no one is flying around nearly invisible.

if you like this concept say so in the comments if you have anythings to improve it say so.

I was thinking, remember that episode when the Doctor made perception filters for him, Jack, and Martha? Well when Martha tried to look at the Doctor, her vision kinda shifted to the side.....so maybe in addition to staring at it for like 5 seconds, it slightly starts shifting your field of view away from it??

You know, in addition to you having to stare at it for 5 seconds, and it shifting your view away from it, what if when it took off, something happened with the sound as well? Maybe you could just barely hear it, or something?

I dont really know if it is possible to make it so you look away.
but the idea is that you can only see the tardis if you know it is there so thats why you need to look at it for 5 seconds before it appears fully for the non owner.
the thing with the sound, i agree that could be cool. like it could just have a much quieter sound if it demats while the P Filter is still on.

I think that with a bit of scripting and adding animations to the game, you can make it so your vision is a bit blurry and your vision moves a bit

true, but it just seems like it would be to easy to spot. i mean the whole idea of the perception filter is so that you dont notice it. and if you are running around and then all of a sudden your vision goes blurry you will stop and question why it did that. it just would fit more to the concept if it gave almost no indication that it was there

And if there is the integration of the 5 seconds? I mean the vision goes blurry and all that but if you look 5 seconds

that would be cool. like it goes blurry right before it fully appears, kind of like its coming into focus

I like this idea. I definitely want to see this idea coded into this addon.
Dr. Matt where are you?

Yes. This actually sounds like a great idea. Although, how would that work. You'd need access to a bunch of different things, so it would take a while to make it.
