It would be interesting if the Tardis could use Siege Mode, a feature introduced in Season 8 of Doctor Who. It Uses a large amount of power to transform the Tardis into a large metallic cube capable of protecting the Tardis even when the Shields are down. It is activated by a lever placed underneath the center console.
