F.A.Q.
1. The game keeps crashing

First thing, make sure you graphic driver is up to date!
There are two types of crashes we noticed so far. If your game crashes in the second level around the swimming pool area, try to change some graphic settings from high to medium for example, or change the resolution.
When the games crashes in any other circumstance, like even before you can play, it probably has to do with other addons/campaigns that are creating conflicts. In this case, disable all other addons/campaigns and don't forget to restart the game!
In nothing else helps try remove everything, reinstall Left 4 Dead 2 and only install our addons.


2. I only see pink spots and error messages

The campaign consists of 8 different workshop items and you need to have all of them added and activated. There is the main item named "Chernobyl: Chapter One" and seven others: "Chernobyl: Part 1 ", "Chernobyl: Part 2" and so on... There is also a collection you can use to add them all:

3. My sky is glowing in pink!!

Two solutions: This can happen when all graphic settings are set to low, so change them to at least medium. Another solution is to use the addons "Valve´s Mising Content fix" and "Informal Skyboxes".

It worked when I uncheck all other addons and restarted the game, it is fully playable but with many areas with pink textures.

And you did download and activated all 8 addons for chernobyl?

are you gonna try to fix some of the compatability issues, or making it more stable? i dont see why a campaign should be incompatible with stuff like weapons and models, kinda ridiculous.
no other campaigns ive played has had these kind of problems.

The map wont show up in the addon maps. Ive installed and uninstalled all the parts plus the main mod several times.

same here. im currently adding them through workshop instead of manually to see if it works. if not then im at a a loss.

hello, I find that some of the stair is empty, i mean instead of walking on it, I penetrate it, i make me stuck and can not even start part4

whenever it tells me to collect gas cans in the 3rd part, they dont spawn? anyone else have trouble with this?

Are you sure you looked everywhere in the area? We never experienced this problem so far.

We are sorry to hear that but we never claim to support any other mods, as it is also very hard to to test for, because there are so many.

@Puma_wing:
Can you specify which stairs exactly? Otherwise we are not able to fix it. :D

Yeah, I really can't play with a friend, the map loads for the person who's hosting but the other person doesn't even load, and yeah, we tried waiting and nothing
