If you're playing with just Revelations, Custom StageAPI and Mod Compatability hack a good way to reduce some lag is to play the game in full screen. Also go into the Revelations menu settings by hitting hotkey C and go to settings. Turn off Shaders, Better Shaders, Reduce or turn of Particles, Reduce or turn off overlays and custom lights.
