Some ideas I have are:
Chernobyl (Real life) - Scientific, gain uranium after killing a unit based on its combat strength after reaching the Atomic era.
Mos Eisley (Star Wars) - Trade, +1 production on desert times, increased to +2 if there is a resource on it, great works of music provide +1 amenities to the city in which they are placed
Asgard (Norse mythology) - Religious, +1 science, +1 faith and +1 culture on strategic resource tiles
Hollywoo (BoJack Horseman) - Cultural, +1 production, +1 science and -1 food on any resource that is an animal
Morioh (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) - Trade, friendly units killed by ranged attacks have a 33% chance to come back to life with 20 health and a permanent +20 combat strength
Nanda Parbat (DC Comics) - Religious, recon units have +15 combat strength and can attack twice per turn
Birnin Zana (capital of Wakanda, Marvel) - Scientific, units that consume coal, aluminium or oil no longer have resource requirements
Dubai (Real life) - Scientific, +2 science from oil resources and +2 culture from pearl resources
