Would a hat like this be possible. Basically a larger version of the straw hat that almost covers the shoulders with an opening cut into the front to see out of. Also colored much darker.

Based on the existing Straw hat it will be relatively easy to make.
The problem is color. I can not judge the color if it is that image.

Yes, it wouldn't need to be exactly the same. To me it looks like a straw hat that was rubbed with black ash. Maybe a very dark gray color would work?
