Tested with and without your mod. With your mod activated, the map marker for the colony doesn't show up and it throws an error on the world map.
Without it markers show up fine. Might just be that I'm using the Covenant of Hir scenario start, but it's still a glitch. https://gist.github.com/62b07da3e894d90baf87a929c6adfbe1<-- Output_log.

Ok... after a hour of looking i found out that i have missed a letter in one place and this didnt meant that player faction wasnt getting a color or an icon, which somehow destroys the entire map i guess?

Doesn't destroy the map, just makes the UI freak out. Coding is a pain sometimes isn't it?
