I believe what your looking for is Elfant for the Dino name tag

Out of interest, could I ask where you got that from? After making this post I actually went onto the Ark Additions Discord (which sadly is pretty much as lacking in info as the discussion board here and the wiki), and people on there said to look at it's name in a soul ball from Dino Storage. I don't use that mod myself, but someone posted a pic of it from their game, and the tag there just said 'Deinotherium' for the tag.

Thing is, we tried that on our server and the results were...inconclusive. I thought there might have been a small reduction in their spawns, but not a huge amount. And before we could test it further we decided to switch map to another one where they do not spawn at all, so I never got to experiment more fully.

I would be interested to find the name tag conclusively for future reference though.

yep so after scouring the internet not finding it anywhere i went into the game files and cross compared where the very same name tag on files of the others like the acro and xiph were used and noticed in the Deinotherium folder the name Elfant kept poping up so i tried it and used this in game.ini file DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag="Elfant",SpawnWeightMultiplier=1.0,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.1) this made it so there were only four spawned in after a dino wipe!

Ah very interesting, tyvm for the info^^ It may be a little time before I'm able to test it out, but I'll see if I can give it a try when I can, hopefully I'll be able to replicate your success
