Suggestion.
I LOVE this design! The see-trough wings, the gold details, everything! Stellar work! My suggestion is to tilt them backward by maybe 45 degrees? I think they look a little weird pointed straight up. If you have a reason to point them up then I would be curious to hear it!

Definitely agreed, it's a wonderful design but is sort of awkward as possitioned; tilted backward for a more streamlined hermes sort of look, as opposed to bat-ears would be nice.

I disagree. We already have these bakward wings. This angle allows for new compositions and is an alternate setup. Keep this angle.

I think one of the reasons why this operator piece is "tilted" the way it is is maybe it would prevent clipping with all the various operator hairstyles better

straight up is pretty. It reminds me of Aragorn's crown. Also, one of the first images I found when Googling "Mercury's diadem" brings up a very skinny straight up wings on a small thin crown. I am not sure the stylized tilted Nike emblen would be right for a diadem. Hermes was supposed to have winged feet, anyway, wasn't he?
