To me, it isn't. Everyone has their own opinions but i wouldn't say it would make the game more fantasy, i say it would make the game more ANIME.

Gotta love the style. I already own the Mithra sets and these will go very well with my operator to complete the match up. Maybe, just maybe, tilt them a little bit backwards? Just to make them a tad similar to the winged petasos from ancient Greece :P They are perfect already but the tilt will make them more appealing IMHO.

While that would look nice, I think it is more Orokin this way, it is more unique.

Because most anime is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb and overrated, so yeah, Warframe being more "anime-like" would be a negative thing.

And this may be hard to wrap your head around, but Asian cultures/influences exist outside of anime. You can have ninjas and Japanese design aesthetics or any number of references to different Asian cultures and still have absolutely NOTHING to do with anime. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb ass weebs I stg....

This is a very beatiful piece. Reguardless of wheter others have to throw it any catagory or fantasy or anime is irrelevant because it is a well thought out design by any standards. Bottum line: I will pay money for it therefore everyones esle's opinion is irrelevant. Please continue to develope more art and insiration because this is amazing.

I agree; this piece mostly gives me an Orokin sort of vibe. The Orokin rather obviously love(d) their elaborate, extravagant pieces, in architecture, in weapons and war machines, and in clothing. Angelic wings with a circlet/crown that seem to say, "I might as well be an angel compared to you, filthy groundwalkers, now get back to the back-breaking labor... ohohoho~" ...Very Orokin. *nod*

The word "anime" is an abbreviation of the japanese transliteration of the word "animation", so technically you're correct about it not necessarily relating to ninja or asian aesthetics.

That said, "most anime is dumb and overrated" is a pretty big stretch. Have you seen most anime, then? Or do you just assume based on the dumb ones your friends showed you a little bit of so you could laugh at how dumb they were? Because ya know, people tend to find what they actively look for... and certainly, some anime is dumb and overrated.^^
