Then you would also need to change the lantern and stove to need electricity, instead of running of chemfuel. When they are chemfuel variants, it makes no sense that they need electric research. Look at how camping gas stoves and lamps work. There is no electricity involved, as usually you don't have any when you are out camping.

So unless you add electric variants of them or turn the ones you have into electric ones, the better research may also be the biofuel one.
