I think that Georgia should be communist and led by him, while Russia is still communist, but led by Trotsky. This, of course, means a reworked Soviet focus tree.

Thank you for your expressing your interests in this detail however Georgia existed in 1918-1921 as an Imperial German Protectorate and Stalin despite his heritage had nothing to do with the Democratic Republic of Georgia, during that time of Georgia's independence he was involved in the Russian Civil War and making a name for himself at Tsaritsyn (Stalingrad/Volgograd).

Yeah, and also making Russia trotskyist would open a whole other can of alt-history worms, and shift the focus away from the Caucasus.
