Good idea, but the problem is that this will bug out the Stellarborne, causing the crisis to never end properly because you didn't occupy their capital via planetary invasion.The thing is, if you're strong enough to defeat their fleets or distract them long enough for the Star Eater to do its job, you probably don't need this method to begin with, as invading their planets is just a time-consuming cakewalk. Also, I'm pretty sure you can't jump drive into their systems.
