I think I just found a way to trick those guys.
First, I build a portal at the L-gate system (there's only one in my galaxy).
Then, I buld another portal in my shipyard system.
And finally, using the hyperlane remover mod, I cut ALL the hyperlanes leading to the system.
This means they are confined at the L-gate,since they are too dumb to use portals and jump drives, and your fleets can rush straight at them and the L-cluster.

Yes, this mod doesn't account for Hyperlane-Removal or other mecahnics that is too much beyond the vanilla systems sadly.

I wonder can I just change their modules to Unbidden instead hmmm... Does Unbidden ever use Psi Jump Drives ?

Best strategy is to anticipate their attacking path, then camp your fleets at the entrance of that system.

Many of their weapons have longer range, but also significant minimum range. They are weaker overall in close combat than in long-distance engagement.

Once you kill roughly 200+~ of their ships, you will be able to steal their reactor. Then many new tech paths will be unlocked afterwards.

The OE Ship Apperances are availiable from the Starting Shipset Submod

Their unique ships (Gunships/Dreadnoughts) are a possible reward for beating them.

Maybe I should reduce the number of ships in their L-Clusters. The originaly numbers were not accounted for the added Colossi and starbases hmmm...

Welp, I got as far as penetrating their L-Clusters into their homeworlds, but I did not have enough resources left to make the final push.

Was an intense game. I could have done better if I had a proper start. not as a protectorate LUL

Certainly one of the hardest game i have been through, both before and after the Crisis happened.

Never struggled this hard as an AE before. Even setting normal crisies at maximum difficulty was not this challenging XD.

YOUR MOD IS AMAZING! I have made a really good compliation with Alpha Mod and Gigastructural Engineering, I will share the modpack but I have never enjoyed Stellaris more! I am currently the last empire in my galaxy and am baring holding the hordes back! 20/10 will play again! Keep up the amazing work!:steamhappy:
