Boohouse crash
Since around the time a major security flaw in the Source engine was fixed last year it appears de_boohouse will no longer load, and the game crashes. Through messing around in SFM I have confirmed the problem lies in the (supposed) trigger brush the spawn points are all located in, but I have no idea about what's going on beyond that. It appears the security update last year to patch the ability to hijack computers by uploading custom assets patched over code the trigger's script relies on. Can anyone confirm this? Or am I the only one who sees this? Given the first comment pointing this out was posted shortly after the update... (the comment on July 6 2017, The Verge posted their article on the exploit on the 20th)

EDIT: Actually, it was July 20 that the article was published, and Gmod's update was in the previous May. Still worth pointing out.

Update: Removing the sound trigger for the eyes fixes the crash. This means the crash is caused by a custom resource...

Turns out decompiling and recompiling is all that's actually needed to stop the map from crashing, suggesting something compiling-related might have been deprecated. Though this has the side effect of destroying the textures...

Ok, just tested de_boohouse and it˙s loading fine on me, everything´s still working. Very curious why are you having it crash.

I tried and it's not crashing anymore, so maybe a recent update fixed it. cs_deadhouse (in the other pack) still crashes, which I've already confirmed (via the console in SFM) to be the zombie torso (which I think gets cloned) having an illegal animation script. (Also, it's tied to visgroups)

Interesting. Very interesting ... and speaking of crashes, this place is crashing on me all over again. Maybe the hotfix to the game caused it all over again, even though I did notice that if I load up from de_livehouse then it almost manages to load itself up, so yeah. Stuck all over again. -.-;

UPDATE: tested a different boohouse version I´ve found here, zs_boohouse_v2 and it isn´t crashing at all. Differences, I cannot find the "Summer" room + Hall of Shame, some item locations had been changed, the "death pit" in one of the rooms is missing and a trigger for ghostly "help me" soundfile (located beside the doorframe where you enter the room that contains the portrait of 3 ghostly faces right beside the said portrait) is missing as well. When extracted, I found out there is only a .bsp version of the map, no .nav file or "sounds" folder.
