Rarity of Advanced Archotechs?
I've been playing a save for 14 in-game years now and have only ever come across one archotech brain melder and one archotech obliterator. Are these just unbelievably rare or did I get them in a way that I shouldn't have? I remember buying the archotech obliterator off of a prostheses trade ship.

that's surprisingly good news, actually. While I don't focus on these items being balanced in any sense of the word, I do like them to be rare, because of how overpowered they are. The brain melder specifically should be post end-game, because of what it offers to the pawn.

To answer your question, yes, they are unbelievably rare, for the most part.
