Read Hints You Borderline Illiterate Noobs

Once you have done that though...then you can really get started.

It is one thing to have read the hints and scouts, but understanding them is another thing entirely. Now I'm going to answer a few questions that I imagine get asked quite a lot.

So what's going on with teams?
There are three entities in this scenario, Rome, Egypt, and Parthia. Both Rome and Egypt are in civil war, so one egyptian faction will ally with Pompey, while the other will ally with Caesar. So there you have the factions. Caesar with Cleopatra, Pompey with the Roman Senate and Provinces, and Parthia by itself.

So what's going on with Parthia?
Why does it make sense that Parthia can lose so easily? Because they have this wonderful opportunity to strike at the heart of Rome while it tears itself apart. So should the civil war end before Parthia has fully taken advantage of the situation, then they have in fact lost.

So why no relic victory?
Cause f*ck you, that's why.

Know what is really rude? Not looking this scenario up on the workshop when you spend twenty minutes in lobby then when getting ingame complaining constantly about not knowing what to do, before finally leaving the game only ten minutes in.

Strategy guide for Ceaser:

Move Ceaser and his men into Rome, ASAP. Send cavalry to try and hunt down Pompey, and eliminate the heros of p6. If Pompey gets away, send troops into Spain, and secure the loyalty of those near Parthia. Invest in your navy so Pompey can't go over and gather troops there, and keep your vassals under you by force if needed. If Sardinia and Corsica go up into rebellion (They usually shouldn't) send a force of fire ships to deal with them. Be sure to reinforce Syria and Greece if needed. You should win!

Strategy guide for Pompey:

Send Pompey out of Rome, ASAP, and send him to a transport. Take him down to Spain, or Greece in order to gain legionary support. When you have Legionares, try to attack France and Italy at the same time, while gaining the loyalty of the Roman Vassals. Have Syria and Greece get supplies from you so they can hold out against Parthia while you deal with Ceaser. With swift strikes and big armies you should be able to recapture Italy, and get the Senate back into power. With their support, you get another powerful ally. Be sure to ship troops into Spain, and use the alps to attack France. Box Ceaser in, and eventually eliminate him.

Strategy Guide for Ptolmey:

Move Ptolmey into a safe place, while prepare a cold war with p3. Gain the support of Pompey, or the Senate so they can send Legionares to help you in your fight. Constantly train troops, and eliminate p4 when war breaks out. Break your armies into 2 groups, Send one group to defend against Parthia, while sending the other group to land in Italy with Pompey, and Cicero. Help them win, and victory is yours.
