I added override materials, restarted SFM, changed skin to 2, and still can't paint it.
Did the whole "strapless_paintable" in the materials and still no visual changes. What gives?

oh yeah, Forgot to mention. Skin 3 is the paintable skin

That's a SFM problem.

Same here.
But attribute: color -> $color is working.
