Doesn't work on Practice mode
Is it just me or everyone that can't use the mod on practice mode, this wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't have such horrible internet service and didn't live somewhere were there are few servers nearby. This just makes it a rarity that I find a game I can join with a decent latency, so I figure it would be easier to use Practice mode.

You can use practice mode just fine. Go to the practice menu, select a map and gamemode, and you’ll be able to start a match. Keep in mind only the PvP modes with bots are supported so far, there is no Coop mode support yet.

My problem was the units for the battle wouldn't show up in practice, making it impossible for me to start the game. However this was resolved after connecting to one of the screaming steel servers. I don't know how but this fixed it. Thanks for getting back to me.

You need to over-ride the theater. I don't know the command (just type theater in console and press space.) I think the theater is named "screamingsteel"
