suggestion: joining a faction
could make it so you could join an in game faction. it could work in such a way that it fuctions as essantily a more commited allie

What would an alliance like this do? I can make an event that states "You are now part of an Alliance with X" but what does it do?

The Alliance would have to go both ways; what would your allies ask from you, and what would you ask from your allies?

you get random defense quests, and the faction is more likly to send troops if you join them.
