Nevermind. It was trying to load a wad from the garrysmod directory of the server.

in mine show its outdated maps will not work and demons hearing is low so its impossible to connect this

same thing over here, used to work just fine, what went wrong?

I feel like the solution that was posted here 9 minutes after the thread was created should have made the cause of and solution for this issue obvious, and yet, there is reply after reply of "I have this problem too" and not a single one says that they made sure to place the wads on the server machine. I'm not sure if you can't figure it out or you just didn't bother to read anything past the OP, so I'm gonna spell this out for you guys.

If the wad list is empty and you are playing singleplayer (or a listen server as the host), then you did not place the required wad(s) in your garrysmod folder as per the gmDoom instructions. If the wad list is empty and you are playing on a server from the server list (or from anywhere that isn't your computer), then the server is missing the wad(s) in its garrysmod folder.

If you did place the wad correctly and it still doesn't work, then make sure to mention that before proclaiming "Me too!", because otherwise I'm just going to assume that you didn't follow the directions, nor read this thread.

Thank you, I was getting tired of random notifications of people replying to this almost 3 year old thread.
