specified map uses ugc system jazztronauts
A lot of maps that worked before i reinstalled gmod today didn't say this when I tried to launch it. Any ideas about this?

Can you link an example of one these maps? This might be by design, unfortunately. GMod recently switched over to use a newer "UGC" system for downloading workshop items, which isn't compatible with how Jazztronauts downloads maps on the server side. Old addons aren't affected, but new addons (or even just updating an addon) will convert it to the new system.

I'm working on a way to have it work for listen servers, but dedicated servers will be out of luck until a solution exists to download raw .gma files from the UGC system.

I've just pushed a version that will allow listen servers to download these maps, which should be the case for a majority of users I think. There's no solution for dedicated servers for now.

Any server that isn't a separate dedicated server is a listen server, so starting one up through the gmod menu and specifying more than 1 players will make a listen server for you and you'll be able to run these new maps. :steamthumbsup:

I use a dedicated server to play with my friends due to where we all live just making someone hosting from their game impractical. Has there been any changes so this can be fixed on dedicated servers as well? Thanks

Anybody still trying to do this with a dedicated server can try using this module

I haven't done an extremely deep vet of it, but a quick search of common baddies didn't come up with anything. Let me know if contrary.
