With this plug-in on your character, NPC and animals in the snow will remain dynamic tracks with the effect of fading.

Update (from 04/01/2015)
- Added missing file for SkyUI (MSM menu might not work)
- Fixed Translation options menu MSM "Duplicate Player effect" on "again to apply the effect to the player", this option is required in case if there are traces of all the NPC and your SG is no trace, click the option "Re-apply the effect to the player ".

The game becomes more realistic, you can now track down the animal on the trail, or NPC.
- Support for all humanoid (does not exist) NPC
- Support for bears, deer, DRAUGR, Falmer, witch, horses, sabers, skeletons, wolves, giants, mammoths, sprigganov, cows, goats, trolls, werewolves and zlokrysov
- Werewolves of mods should work fine considering that the author should work
- Support Dawnguard, Dragonborn, support is turned off by yourself if you do not have these DLC
- Support for detection of the wake. Requires SKSE, but this feature will be disabled if you do not have SKSE. At present, only traces without shoes (barefoot), or traces of shoes
- FX particles and effects
- Support of game characters

View distance and the number of tracks depends on the settings in the unit [Decals]
in SkyrimPrefs.ini, which is under My Documents.
Skyrim.INI:

fDecalLifetime = 900

parameter responsible for the lifetime of the tracks

900 is about 15 minutes.

Proximity:
Before uninstalling the game, enter the console setstage footprintsQuest 99
Next Save to net saving, exit the game and remove all the Data folder files that have been downloaded - Footprints.esp and Footprints.bsa
If you want to re-enable this plug-in scripts, type in the console:
stopquest footprintsquest
startquest footprintsquest
for each team press Enter
