1. He decided having random level hatching would be a "mean move" (pg version of the truth). I mean, imagine. Having to go through all that hard work to hatch a bottom-level indom that wasn't even worth the effort.
2. He stated countless times that indominus WILL NOT spawn in the wild, and that he has no intention of making them do so, and that even if they DID spawn in the wild, they are not tameable in the wild in any way, shape, or form.
In addition, I would like to hear other opinions on the idea, and that of the mod developer himself. Thanks.
Or even if it is possible to configure the level you want through the .ini?
And about the wild spawn, I believe you can do it with another Mod (Simple Spawners) from the moment we have the "blueprint" of it. I'm going to test this on my servers yet.
Not to mention, in their current form, they are quite overpowered ( easily beating the dmg of my bred rexes against bosses ).
If they were to breed ( which assumes males, which in turn assumes mate buff ), they would completely obsolete the rexes for boss fights, which i guess isn't the idea. The only thing that balances them is the slow growth, the price to pay for each and the fact that there is no mate buff.
So i am guessing by "interesting", you mean - "Let's have this dino, that completely obsoletes any other boss fighter by far, so we can have ez boss fights stomping".
