It hatches as a baby, you like most babies imprint on it and thus make it your baby. However it can easily still kill you.

Once Indominus grows she'll be tamed and imprinted using a Nanny from S+ or imprinting like normal.

so why do we have spawn sodes for wild indominus if it never wild in game? =)
