I had the same problem. Try to delete all languages in the mod's folder(except English). In the pre-launch screen press "configure" and press "Auto Adjust" then. I hope it will help you too.

Must be, I tried what you said and it still didn't seem to work (although I did not see an auto adjust button anywhere, maybe thats the issue? Where exactly is it on the configure screen?) Thanks for the help so far.

Hm... There is another option, but it will revert the font to default condition. If it is not so important for you, go to mod's data folder and delete font_data.xml. Then back to the Red and Blue folder and open textures. There you have to find and delete font.dds file. These actions will wipe out the custom font of the mod. Hope it's gonna help.
