I think it should be part of the normal drop system... I get really annoyed when I dont have one of these really cool items and have to pay for a key to get a 1/15 chance of getting it...

What makes this different from any other weapons, that makes it different enough to not put it on the timed drops?
If it is because of the style, then a lot of weapons will need to be on special crates. (The Pomson and Cow Mangler packs)
Adding a whole crate is kind of dumb because there isn't any other weapons that are of this kind of style.
I think that it should be left as a timed drop, it is a good weapon

I think it should be a normal weapon. Sure, its unique right now, but so are the mad milk, and the jarate, and the cleaver, and the huntsman, and the charging targe etc.

Robo Crates and craft with one medi gun, one machina, and a scrap

I think this would be a perfect item to gain from the Robo-Crates, and if they dont add it (they being valve) I would really hope that the author puts a download link for a reskin
