I see black and purple squares while I have both H-L2 and CSS 2018 and I put mat_specular 0 and mat_hdr_level 2

It requires Half-Life: Source to be mounted on Garry's Mod. Half-Life 2 and Counter Strike textures aren't used in this map.

So just Half-Life and not Half-Life 2 ?

Half-Life: Source, which is Half-Life remade for the Source Engine. You can find it on the Steam Store on sale at the moment.

Is it normal that i dont have sound in the Test lab in sector C ?

Tails, that could be due to the number of sounds that are playing simultaneously in the map, I'll take a look into it.

I have a bug to report. just outside the area in which you spawn there are some ads for black mesa like you would find in Half Life 1 but they are a weird mix of colors (pink,black, purple ext)

You need to mount Half-Life Source.

This isnt really a bug, but it causes them so im gonna ask it
is there a way to download HLS's textures and sounds and such without buying the game? I dont want to waste my money on a game im prolly never gonna play.
and while im on the subject, how do you mount black mesa (the steam game) onto gmod?
