Server not responding
When I try inviting a friend to plat or he invites me a message of "Server not responding" appears and when we try looking for the server in the list it doesn't appear

Have you opened the ports on our router? If not then do this and try again. Also setting "sv_lan 0" and "heartbeat" in console might fix your problem. When all this fails go install Hamachi :redwizard:

Hamachi is crappy alternative, just find a server to play on if you can't figure out port forwarding etc

im having problems with this too. my friend tried making a server and he rage quit because the server didnt respond even when he tried hamachi and other crap.

gotta forward port 27015 for your modem and/or router for it to work usually.

Ports you should forward:
Start: 3478 End: 3478 Protocol: TCP/UDP
Start: 4379 End: 4380 Protocol: TCP/UDP
Start: 27000 End: 27050 Protocol: TCP/UDP
