I'm having the same problem, but i only get the error if i try to quit to the main menu, or load a previous save. Even though it says the game can't continue, it does continue to run and it has to be closed from task manager.
I have only just bought the game, but i tried vanilla for a while first and had no problems. But maybe there's something i'm missing as i am new to the game and to the workshop for it.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Edit: Nvm, i've just seen another post explaining that you have to enable the mod, then quit the game, then restart it and it shouldn't crash then. That should fix my problem at least.

I can't ever play more than 5 minute for this mod ;; - ;; but in the original game not mod it perfect
I don't know how to fix this because don't know where it broke. so tried for finding an answer now HaHaHa

your steam game is really updated to 1.0.7 170910 ?

secundo, in case, you cannot load and apply a vanilla saved game and try to run it with RKEC (you need to start a new game. all vanilla buildings have been replaced and dont longer exist)

did you tried to start in dx9 - dx11 ?

did you tried to lower the size of the map ? and not try to make a huge or large map ?

What is RKEC ? I'll try to fix with the lower first. I'll update the answer later

Then close the game completly. and restart the game, click new and start a new map.

I just wanna say ITS WORK !!!!! I can play This mod !!

BUT it have a new problem that when I try to quit to the main menu it CRASH like Puddy's problem :(

this is because when you go make changes in the modlist you didnt close entirely the game before clicking "NEW" and started a map.

Always close entirely the game, and restart it. The game needs to update your windows registry with the changes you asked. it only does it when you close the game.
So if you click new and start a map, you will crash if you click "quit". it is always been when you go make changes in the mod list.

Year 21 summer.... "A fatal access violation has occurred in Application-stream-x64.exe and the game cannot continue!".... get the ++++ out of here

Same with me , i start the game , select the mod , wait for it to restart CRASH...same msg he got YunaKung , so i tried starting dx 9 and 11 , i tried lowering pretty much everything ..Nada!!!
So ...i dont know what it is with this mod ..but its no god!
