*sigh* having the same issue... I really hope the mod creator sees this.

not years. actually it's a bit less than ONE year

they apparently heard that Wildcard was making this mod an official gamemode and abandoned this mod. Wildcard on the other hand hasn't said anything about it in months, so it likely won't be an ark 1 gamemode.

It was going to be primal survival, a new gamemode and they even released trailers and everything. That was years ago but it was put on the back burner because, like everything, the only thing Wildcard are interested in right now are Lost Island and Ark 2.

But yeah, the mod creator has been awol for years. Last I heard he'd been hired by some other company and abandoned this awesome mod.

I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in my entire life! I literally bought ark on pc so that I could play the mod. And I downloaded like 14 additional creature mods because i could play as modded creatures too. I've spent the past few days trying to fix the crash because I thought it wasn't an issue with the mod.. I really hope a miracle happens or something

Wildcard recently teased a revival of Play as Dino alongside the animated series, so there's still a chance for a official gamemode.

It breaks my heart that this mod keeps causing crashes and cant be played anymore. I loved this mod so much. :(
