It might be cause ur creature is actually is a herbivore. Eat berries (Hit plants)

Hello, could you help me too? It seems I have a simillar problem, I can't harvest anything, I keep destroying trees but I don't get any wood or other materials from it, can't pick up plants too. Harvesting the bodies of other dinos works though.

Your character auto-eats, you don't need to worry about it as long as you have food in your inventory that your creature eats.
