Im sure youve gotten your answer already, but i'll respond anyway. I dont think its supported anymore sadly, as for if it works technically yes. Sadly I have had several crashes anytime i try to open the engram page. hopefully someone else can make a similar mod

Yea I've since tested it, works great for me, the only time I crash is when I try to go in water as the Ichthyornis but other than that I've never cared or at least thought to open the Engram section lucky me ? Idk but for single player I'd say it's totally functional just as much as I remembered it back when it was new.
