It happens on both multiplayer and singleplayer.
Colour regions are uncklickable and squares representing the colours are black.
It happens to every dino.
Only some people seem to ecounter the bug, neither reinstalling, nor verifying files does anything.
Also it happens on both this version and the classic one.
Weird, never experienced that myself. Did it happen from the beginning or did it start later. And do you have a large dino overhaul mod installed too?
Nope, it happened just from the beggining, neither big overhaul mods installed, nor enabled.
Also, it was the first mod ive installed, i started to ecounter the issue with just the Play As Dino! mod installed so i think its no other mods fault.
You can scan for dinos in the world in the admin menu. If it doesn't detect the wild spawned creatures, you can spawn them in yourself and then scan again.
I will add more options for adding dinos later
Is this just how it works for dinos baseline to help prevent frustration in attempting to knock out dinos?
Does the "player entity" still require water?
Yes that is a bug. You can set it to zero in the settings, as it should be
