Player beware.

This mod is incredibly unstable for both Single Player and Multiplayer servers. In order to get it *remotely* stable, many features of the mod have to be disabled, such as breeding and structures due to meshing memory issues. PAD Spino and PAD Ant have numerous issues that cause client crashes.

When clients crash, they will usually leave "invisible" player bodies (because the dinos are piloted by an invisible human puppet, which you can see clearly with the Snow Owl's ice form if you don't believe me) that typically cannot be killed by ordinary means - and if your server is PvE or has ORP enabled, they cannot be damaged unless deleted by an admin. There will also be a husk left behind, the empty shell of the person's dino. When one of these husk dinos are approached by someone, they usually crash. This will effectively create "dead zones" on your server where multiple people will crash in the same spot, leave husks as "crash bombs."

Every content-bringing update Finntastic has put out has made the mod more and more unstable, with empty promises for fixes and poorly-implemented workarounds that don't even solve the issues. Mind, this is after me and my server host sent him numerous crashstack files and client crash logs, and Finntastic even visited our server from time to time to troubleshoot. Having done this for over a month, there has been little to no improvement.

The most egregious of these crashing catalysts is the back-up system, which, since its implementation (even on servers that immediately disable it), has been causing extreme crashing issues for entire servers.

And honestly? After having a server's population eviscerated due to the constant crashes the server brings (even after wipes), the instability this mod brings should make him lose his mod sponsorship with Wildcard. If Wildcard is sponsoring mod developers to produce supplemental content for their game, they need to tighten their standards and quality control to forbid incompetent mod developers from their time in the spotlight.
